Kutora.id – Ketua Komisi X DPR RI, Hetifah Sjaifudian, memastikan bahwa anggaran untuk Beasiswa Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) Kuliah tahun 2025 tidak mengalami pemotongan. Kepastian ini diperoleh setelah pertemuan antara Pimpinan DPR RI dan Kementerian Keuangan.
Dalam rapat kerja dengan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek), Hetifah menyampaikan bahwa sebanyak 1.040.192 mahasiswa tetap menerima Beasiswa KIP Kuliah dengan total anggaran Rp14,698 triliun.
“Tidak ada efisiensi atau pemotongan anggaran. Hak mahasiswa tetap terjamin,” ujarnya dalam rilis resmi yang diterima Parlementaria di Jakarta, Sabtu 15 Februari 2025.
Selain KIP Kuliah, program beasiswa lain seperti LPDP, Beasiswa Pendidikan Indonesia, dan Beasiswa Indonesia Bangkit juga tetap berjalan tanpa perubahan. Hetifah menegaskan bahwa DPR RI, khususnya Komisi X, akan terus mengawal kebijakan ini agar pendidikan tetap menjadi prioritas nasional.
“Kami mengapresiasi langkah Kementerian Keuangan yang memastikan efisiensi anggaran tidak menyentuh sektor beasiswa pendidikan. Ini kabar baik bagi mahasiswa dan orang tua,” tambahnya.
Dengan kepastian ini, Hetifah berharap masyarakat tidak lagi khawatir akan isu pemotongan beasiswa. “Pendidikan adalah investasi masa depan. Kami di Komisi X akan terus memperjuangkan akses pendidikan yang lebih baik bagi generasi mendatang,” pungkasnya.
